Easter Table 2020 + Egg Giveaway!

Today is quarantine day #23 but Easter is this weekend so even though there won’t be a church service to attend in person or a big family-filled Easter lunch, I still wanted to set the table so we could enjoy the festive look all week.

I had a lot of fun scouring the house and the yard for items to use for my tablescape! I feel like if we get nothing else out of this COVID-19 experience we will find ourselves more resourceful and able to make the best of what we have and knock that eagerness to always be buying something new. I feel it happening to me every day.

Welcome to our table - let me show you around…

I laid out a lace tablecloth my Grandmother gave me and pulled out my McKenzie-Childs dishes to start. I love the combination of the elegance and the whimsy.

I love to use cloth napkins for occasions like this, they just add nice texture and a bit of formality which is always fun. So, I pulled some white fringed + these blue and white cloth napkins out and rolled them up with my favorite little Easter napkin rings.

I have these melamine goblets I bought last year at Homegoods. I typically use them for outdoor dining, but I liked how fancy they felt on the lace tablecloth, so I added them to the mix! And of course the star of the show - the giant magnolia branch! We have a huge magnolia in our side yard, right outside my office window, and I love the organic meets wild feel it brought to the table.

And last, but certainly not least - eggs! Real life Easter Eggs from our backyard coop!

If this beautiful mix of colors doesn’t just scream Easter, I don’t know what does. And guess what!? I want YOU to have some Easter Eggs from our Urban Farm too!
